Maybelline Cover Girl
Ashley found Maybelline Cover Girl (“May”) when she was just a green six year old from Ketchen Place Farm in 2006.  May, a Trakhener/Thoroughbred, was purchased as a project horse to bring up the levels with the hopes of going Preliminary and possibly a one star. Ashley and May forged a significant partnership from the very beginning and they have competed from the beginner novice level together all the way to finishing three FEI two star competitions. With how willing and athletic May has proven to be, Ashley is hoping to compete at their first Advanced competition in the late summer season.

In the barn, May is as opposite to an upper level horse as could be possible. Fondly known as “the pony club horse”, May is one of the few FEI level event horses who will lazily stand by the trailer all day and walk around on a loopy rein in any situation. May has developed many fans from being as sweet as she is pretty!

"Rudy" is a 2010 Thoroughbred gelding by Garnered and out of Felicity Miss. The first time that Ashley sat on Rudy she knew that he was something special despite his plain bay wrapping! Ashley plans to bring Rudy up the levels slowy and correctly in order to ensure success for the future. Rudy and Ashley have already been out cross-country schooling and to combined tests and plan to start their eventing career together with the USEA Young Event Horse competitions. At 5-years-old, Rudy is the perfect age to shape his raw talent into an upper level event horse with a correct and secure foundation.

Vanquish (otherwise known as “Dash”) is a 2007 OTTB purchased from Jan Byyny. Before that Dash had been at the Tebogo training center, a barn that specializes in finding second careers for Thoroughbreds coming off the track. Dash has steadily moved up the levels and completed multiple preliminary events last year, finishing in the top six several times. He's looking to keep gaining exposure at the preliminary level in 2015 with a possibility of a move up later on in the year.

Nico is a 2011 Thoroughbred who never raced. Purchased from Maggie Zock, Nico has been working on lunging and figuring out the basics of eventing. In 2015 Nico will be going to lots of schooling events and hopefully a few recognized shows at the lower levels to gain confidence and exposure to the sport.

Southern Belle
Belle is a 1996 Trakhener/Thoroughbred mare who Ashley bought as a seasoned novice horse when Ashley was fourteen. Ashley and Belle did many novices together and were able to successfully move up to training together. Ashley did several pony club events on Belle as well as receiving her C3 on her. Unfortunately Belle’s eventing career ended when she had to have colic surgery but she was able to go to a fantastic retirement home.

Yellow Jasmine
Jazzy is a 1994 Quarter Horse mare who Ashley got as a very green project pony when she was only twelve years old. Jazzy had had no former education or training and was basically “green broke”. While not being very well educated, Jazzy had a great temperament and her and Ashley were able to learn together successfully. In fact, Jazzy learned to like jumping so much that she would jump out of the dressage ring! Ashley did many pony club events and CTs on Jazzy but sadly her eventing career ended when Ashley found that the palomino pony had quite an aversion to water. Jazzy found a great home with a young girl who decided she strictly wanted to do the hunter/jumpers.
